We will also offer opportunities for youth to grow in the areas of audio and video production and support their efforts to grow in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics,” said Mayor Oliver Gilbert.

The City plans to add the following programs and facilities:

• Culinary Arts and Hospitality Center: a culinary arts center where residents can sharpen their culinary skills. There will also be an area designated for outdoor dining and hospitality services.

• Audio-Visual and Arts Center: a recording and video studio where residents can hone their talents in front of the microphone, or camera, and behind it

• STEM Laboratory: a science, technology, engineering and math lab where students can explore these technical fields

• Alternative Sports and Fitness Complex: a facility that will house boxing, ballet, martial arts and other non-traditional sports
