Miami Dolphins Hosted Punt, Pass, & Kick Clinic at the Doctors Hospital Training Facility

DAVIE – The Miami Dolphins hosted the Punt, Pass, & Kick (PPK) clinic in the Doctors Hospital Training Facility at Nova Southeastern University. Over 125 kids participated in the clinic and had the opportunity to learn skills from current and former players to prepare themselves for the PPK competition.

“The PPK (Punt, Pass, & Kick) clinic is a great grassroots program,” said Twan Russell, Director of Youth & Community Programs for the Miami Dolphins. “Learning small techniques from the current and former players and integrating these techniques will help these kids down the road as they continue to learn the game of football.”

The current Miami Dolphins players in attendance included Kicker Dan Carpenter, Long Snapper John Denney, Quarterback Pat Devlin, and Punter Brandon Fields.

The Punt, Pass, & Kick program is about kids and the parents who support their kids to come out and play. Also, the Punt, Pass, & Kick feature the volunteers who give their time to organize the events.

The Miami Dolphins Alumni featured Offensive Lineman Chris Collins, Wide Receiver Oronde Gadsden, Running Back Lorenzo Hampton, Defensive Back Sean Hill, Tight End Ed Perry, and Wide Receiver James Pruitt.

The NFL Punt, Pass & Kick (PPK) is the oldest grassroots initiative in the NFL and with last year’s age-group expansion to include the 6-7 division, the program will continue to reach children of a younger age and allow them to experience the fun of learning football fundamentals in an engaging and supportive non-contact environment.
