MIAMI – The Miami-Dade County Elections Department will be conducting a thorough examination of its voting equipment in preparation for the November 3 municipal elections. Approximately one-third of Miami-Dade County’s registered voters are eligible to vote on November 3rd, those in the cities of Hialeah, Homestead, Miami and Miami Beach.
“As with every election, we put our voting equipment through rigorous testing, replicating real-life election conditions,” said Supervisor of Elections Lester Sola. “This is just one of the many extensive efforts we make to ensure the reliability of our equipment.”
