Miami Dade College’s Tropical Beat Caribbean Students Association Hosts 10th Anniversary Reception

Miami – The 2013-2014 academic year marks the 10th anniversary of Tropical Beat, the Caribbean Students Association at Miami Dade College, North Campus.

For a decade, Tropical Beat has served as a medium for uniting, fostering, and developing the next generation of Caribbean leaders.

On Wednesday, November 6th, 2013, Tropical Beat will officially kick-off its 10th year anniversary celebrations with its “10th Year Anniversary Appreciation Dinner” with the theme: “Remembering the Past, Embracing the Present, and Empowering the Future” at Miami Dade College, North Campus in the M.J. Taylor Lounge (Room 4207, Building 4, Second Floor) from 6:00p – 10:00p. Tropical Beat will honor its founder, Dr. Emilia K. Baron.

This reception will also officially announce Tropical Beat’s hosting of the 40th Annual Florida Caribbean Association Conference at Miami Dade College North Campus in April 4-6, 2014 and provide an opportunity for Alumni of Tropical Beat to connect and network with current student leaders.
