Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce Holiday Gala Celebrates South Florida’s Multicultural Business Community

MIAMI – On December 5th, the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce (M-DCC) will host its 10th Annual Holiday Gala: Embracing the South Florida Multi-Cultural Business Community.  Additionally, the black-tie gala will honor the best and brightest among South Florida’s business, civic and community leaders while celebrating 41 years of advocacy, empowerment and growth of minority-owned businesses throughout the region.

This year, Alvin West, CFO and Senior Vice President of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitor’s Bureau (GMCVB), will serve as the gala committee chair. Miami-Dade County Commission Chairman Jean Monestime and Jorge Plasencia, co-founder, chairman & CEO of República, one of America’s leading cross-cultural advertising, digital and communications agencies, will serve as event co-chairs.

Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce GalaThis year’s gala will be held at Jungle Island’s Treetop Ballroom, 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, Miami, Florida, 33132. The event begins with a cocktail reception, and silent auction, followed by a gourmet dinner, award presentation, and a special performance by acclaimed jazz vocalist and GMCVB Board Member Carole Ann Taylor during the dinner hour. A post performance will be performed by the Old Skool Gang.

Individual gala tickets are available for $200 per person and $2,250 for a table seating 10 guests. Event sponsorships, ranging from $3,000 to $40,000, are also available and offer corporations the opportunity to promote one’s company to an audience of South Florida’s top business executives, elected government officials and community leaders.
