Marijah, and Reggae Gospel Group, Shaze, added as final artists for the Second Annual Family Reggae Festival

MIAMI – The 2006 South Florida Family Reggae Festival has finalized this year’s exciting festival line-up for Sunday, November 5, 2006 with the addition of talented female Roots Reggae singer/musician, Marijah, and Reggae Gospel group, Shaze, to the South Florida Reggae Showcase artist line-up.

They join other Showcase performers including Causion, Kehv, Zyon High, Natty Remo, Evette and Sugar & Spice the Clowns. International Reggae artists Nadine Sutherland and Chrisinti will headline this year’s festival.

Popular South Florida radio personality, Richie Rich (WAVS 1170AM) has also been added to serve as the day’s emcee of festivities.

The Festival will be held the beautiful Legion Memorial Park at NE 64th Street at NE 7th Ave in Miami, FL and is FREE for all attendees. Park gates open from 10am to 7pm.

The order of the day is to celebrate reggae and Caribbean culture as a part of the fabric of South Florida while also showcasing up and coming talent in the South Florida Reggae Showcase sponsored by C.E.D. Entertainment.

This year’s South Florida Reggae Pioneer Award will be given to Cosmic Force Sound System. The Reggae Riddim Section supports Family Reggae Festival, Inc.’s goal of encouraging arts education for youth and will feature performances by some of South Florida’s most talented kids.

Marijah will also present a drumming workshop for all the children in attendance.
