WEST PALM BEACH – Eighteen local religious, civic and non-profit organizations from diverse backgrounds have joined to create Florida Voices for Immigration Reform (FVIR) a coalition that advocates for comprehensive federal immigration reform and engage residents of the greater Palm Beaches about the issue through a series of upcoming programs.
This new group brings not-for-profits, community based and faith based organizations and institutions, and business leaders from diverse backgrounds from South Florida together to focus on the multiple issues within comprehensive immigration reform.
The members of the recently formed organization include: American Jewish Committee Palm Beach County Regional Office, the Anti-Defamation League, Catalyst for Justice, Redemptive Life Ministries, Church of All Nations, End Times Harvest International Ministries, FAU Diversity Department, Hispanic Resource Council, Palm Beach County Latin American Evangelicals Pastors Association, Honorary Consul of Guatemala in Palm Beach County, Jesus Redentor de Vida, Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, L’Dor Va-Dor Synagogue, New Africa of the Palm Beaches, Palm Beach County Sherifs Office, Temple Israel, World Trade Center Palm Beach County and Western Union.

Our goal is to explain why comprehensive immigration reform makes sense morally and fiscally, and act as a bridge between Democrats and Republicans so that our nation moves forward in a bi-partisan manner on this critical policy, said Pastor Mark D. Boykin from Church of All Nations and a member of FVIR.
