Legendary Barbados Hotel and Resort, Fairmont Royal Pavilion Re-opens

ST. JAMES, Barbados – Following a two-month renovation programme, The Fairmont Royal Pavilion has re-opened — and sets a new standard for all Barbados hotels and resorts.

Set amidst 11 acres of lush tropical gardens, this elegant colonial-style resort now features a new category of room — 24 spacious 900-square foot Beachfront Junior Suites with private terraces. Serviced by experienced butlers, these latest additions will join the existing inventory of 48 Oceanfront Deluxe guest rooms.

Taking inspiration from Barbadian plantation houses, these new suites feature soft serene hues, traditional walnut furnishings and comfortable private terraces. Original artwork is displayed throughout the suites and all feature complimentary Wi-Fi, 42-inch flat-screen TVs with satellite channels and a media panel with a DVD/CD player.

Guests booking a junior suite will also benefit from our Barbados hotel’s airport fast track service, which includes a personal escort through the diplomatic area in immigration and customs, as well as personalised check in and check out, a dedicated butler, daily in-room amenities and complimentary evening canapés.

The public areas of the hotel have also been refreshed. At the heart of the new design, are the coral tones of the exterior which have been influenced by the historical context of the property and the overall island experience.

During high season, our Barbados resort is couples-orientated, but from April to October, children are invited to join their parents when the hotel offers daily activities for kids and teens, including snorkelling, wakeboarding, water-skiing, Hobie Cat and sunfish sailing and kayaking. For spa aficionados, in-room holistic therapies are available.
