Largest Caribbean and Latin Fiesta comes to Florida’s Treasure Coast

PORT ST. LUCIE – Sunset Magic Inc. a non-profit run by Jamaican business woman Erica Byfield, brings the first Caribbean and Latin Fiesta to Port St. Lucie, Florida.

To inaugurate this event, they have brought world-renowned Grammy award international performers such as, El Gran Combo, Third World, Machael Montano, and other regional and community performers who will bring everyone to their feet with sounds of salsa, reggae, reggaeton, soca and calypso.

The event will be held at the spring training home of the NY METS, Digital Domain Park and will have art, craft, food, drink, cultural merchandise, give-away, raffles and a children fun zone.

There are several purposes in the creation of this event – The Caribbean and Latin Fiesta. The organizers have set as a mission to celebrate the diversity of the community and thus bring cultures together to Entertain, Educate and Empower all festival goers on the culture and food of both Caribbean and Latin countries.

It is also their expectation that through the arts, music, dance, food, and family entertainment of the Caribbean and Latin cultures, that people will come out to enjoy and embrace this extravaganza from across Florida.

Another purpose of this event that is very close and dear to the hearts of the organizers is the fundraising aspect. Part of the funds from this fiesta will be donated to several charities including the Kids at Hope initative and the Puerto Rican Association for Hispanic Affairs, as well as mentorship youth program for youths of Caribbean descent. Mr. George and Erica Byfield from Sunset Magic and Mr. Robert Roldan and Jacquelene Burke from PRAFHA have designated their slogan as: “Feed the Poor, Clothe the Naked and Educate the Children” as their inspiration for what will be an incredible event.

The first Caribbean and Latin Fiesta will be held on Saturday, September 25th from noon to midnight.
