Kiwanis Club of Lauderdale Lakes/West Sunrise to host its sixth annual “Back to School Fair”
LAUDERDALE LAKES — The Kiwanis Club of Lauderdale Lakes/West Sunrise will host its sixth annual “Back to School Fair,” on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at the Lauderdale Lakes Community Council, located at 3720 W. Oakland Park Blvd in Lauderdale Lakes from 9:00am until 1:00pm.
The Kiwanis Club of Lauderdale Lakes/West Sunrise will distribute 1,000 back packs and back to school supplies on a first come first serve basis to local students at their annual “Back to School Fair”.
Local students can also be immunized courtesy of Holy Cross Hospital (please bring current immunization records). There will be speakers discussing “getting your students off to a good start this school year”. All this is offered to the general public free through the Kiwanis Club of Lauderdale Lakes and West Sunrise.
This years sponsors include: The Children’s Services Council, City of Lauderhill, Easton Douglas DDS, PA, Healthease, North Broward Hospital District, The Urban League of Broward County and Western Union.
