Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders Select Saint Lucia’s Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa to Host Swimsuit Calendar Photoshoot
VIEUX FORT, Saint Lucia – The talented Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders are bringing their famous Arrowhead Stadium enthusiasm to the Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa in Saint Lucia to shoot their 2015 swimsuit calendar, April 5-11, 2014. The resort’s lush, 85-acre landscape and mile-long beach will offer stunning shoot locations as home base for the squad.

Coconut Bay guests will have several opportunities to mix, mingle and have some fun-in-the-sun with the Chiefs Cheerleaders including a Lobby Meet and Greet, Manager’s Cocktail Party, Beach Olympics, Volleyball and the resort’s famous charity Lazy River Duck Race.
The Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders calendar shoot is the latest starring role for Saint Lucia. The hot destination is featured in print and on primetime television with scenic and romantic locales showcased in the 50th edition of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2014, and on the season finale of ABC’s hit reality series The Bachelor. In addition to the beaches and pools of Coconut Bay, the squad will enjoy photo ops at the island’s most popular attractions recently highlighted on The Bachelor, such as the unforgettable Pitons, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens and the historic Balembouche Estate.
Coconut Bay’s romantic amenities and family-friendly activities will be the center of the action as the Chiefs Cheerleaders pose for the camera and have some fun behind the scenes. The squad will take to the ocean in kayaks and on stand-up paddleboards. The adults-only Harmony Pool, one of four, is steps away from the oceanfront spa, hammocks and sundecks, which are the perfect place to pose for an early morning photoshoot and unwind afterward. The ladies will also have some good old fashioned fun as they tube around the Lazy River and twist through the Coconut Coaster slide in the CocoLand Waterpark, Saint Lucia’s largest.

Mealtimes won’t make it into the final calendar but the girls will enjoy Coconut Bay’s array of dining options and new menus offering abundant healthy choices and a few decadent treats. There are fruit smoothies and omelets, fresh-from-the-oven pastries, just-caught fish hot off the grill, made-to-order salads, stir-fry and tossed pasta. The chef, along with a very special oven, creates hand-crafted pizza and magic chocolate soufflés.
