Jazz In the Gardens Features A Mix of Jazz, R&B and Hip-Hop
SOUTH FLORIDA – The 12th annual Jazz in the Gardens lineup includes a mix of jazz, R&B and hip-hop acts that have become a staple for the event.
The 12th annual Jazz in the Gardens music festival headliners and performers were announced Wednesday, November 30.
The two-day festival scheduled for March 18 and 19 at Hard Rock Stadium will include a mix of new stars and old-school acts headlined by Jill Scott on Saturday and LL Cool J featuring DJ Z-Trip on Sunday.
Jazz in the Gardens Saturday Line-up
On Saturday, March 18 performers include: Robin Thicke, Herbie Hancock and Morris Day and the Time performing with the Jazz in the Gardens All Stars, a group made up of Will Downing, Chantae Moore and Marion Meadows.
Jazz in the Gardens Sunday Line-up
On Sunday, March 19 artists include: Andra Day along with Common and The Roots. The festival is expected to add many more artists to the lineup, including several local performers, in the coming months and it will be hosted by comedian Rickey Smiley.
Some of this past year’s headliners included Charlie Wilson, Usher, Janelle Monae and Babyface.
