Jamaica’s Vere Technical High School Alumni Hosting Wellness Weekend In South Florida

MIAMI GARDENS – Jamaica’s Vere Technical High School Alumni will be celebrating a Weekend of Wellness and reflections bringing all Clarendon School Alumni together.

This Saturday, January 19, 2013 there will be a Banquet / Dance honoring former Coaches and Teachers at the El Palacio Resort and Sports Hotel 1485 NW 27 ave Miami Gardens. Cocktails will be served at 7:30 p.m and Dinner at 8:30.
Music by Classique and Playmate International.

There will also be live entertainment by former students. They will be honoring the first Principal, Col. S. Ben Francis and present Principal, Dr. Henrietta Stewart of Vere Technical High School.

Activities Line Up

3:00pm: Family Fun Day and Beach Barbecue and Sports Activities at the Johnny U. Lloyd State park in Dania Beach until 6:30pm. Join the former members of the Football, Cricket and Track & Field Team of the 60’s and 70’s.

Church Service at Pentecostal Tabernacle – 18415 NW 7th Ave. Miami Gardens. There will be Live Gospel Music

Proceeds from this weekend will support the on-going Breakfast and Feeding fot the Students Programs of Clarendon Schools.
