Jamaica’s Grand Independence Ball Raises Funds For Kids In Jamaica

SOUTH FLORIDA – With South Florida being home to many Jamaicans there is no shortage of events to celebrate the Island’s Independence.  On Saturday, July 25th there was a full house of attendees at the Jamaica Grand Independence Ball in Weston.

The  annual Jamaica Grand Independence Ball helps to raise funds for the charity, Needy Kids of Jamaica.  Needy Kids of Jamaica is an organization devoted to the principle of charitable service: to the advancement of needy children in Jamaica and USA, and to the strengthening of international goodwill. The proceeds from the event will benefit the Needy Kids in Jamaica and the USA.

Jamaica’s Consul General, Franz Hall was in attendance to meet and greet the Jamaican community and along with friends of Jamaica.
