Jamaica Wins At Big Apple Awards

NEW YORK – Jamaica Tourist Board’s Regional Director, Airlines and Tour Operators, Anthony King accepts the Honorable Mention award in the Crisis Communication category from Sandra Fathi, President of the Public Relations Society of America – New York Chapter during the 24th Annual Big Apple Awards at The Hudson Theatre, Millennium Broadway Hotel.

The award honored the Jamaica Tourist Board’s campaign Restoration Jamaica: Overcoming a Crisis…Protecting Brand Perception which was conceptualized and implemented by Ruder Finn.

Held annually, the Big Apple Awards highlight the exceptional work of New York area public relations professionals. Michelle Charlesworth and Joe Torres of WABC-TV served as guest hosts in awarding the evening’s winners, which according to PRSA-NY Big Apple Awards Chair Harry Zlokower represent the best and brightest campaigns in the industry.
