Jamaica Diaspora Southern USA To Host A Series Of Town Hall Meetings
SOUTH FLORIDA – The Jamaica Diaspora Southern United States is inviting all Jamaicans, Jamaican Organizations and friends of Jamaica to attend one of the Jamaica Diaspora Town Hall Meetings scheduled to take place in Central Florida, South Florida, Atlanta, GA and Houston, TX.
One of the topics that will be discussed is “Mapping Jamaica’s Diaspora” with the Hon. Arnaldo Brown M.P Jamaica’s Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and The Hon. Franz Hall, Consul General of Jamaica.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade implemented the Mapping Jamaica’s Diaspora project in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration. Its aim is to identify through survey responses how the Diaspora can contribute to the development of Jamaica, whilst also determining their needs and concerns.
