International Track & Field Championships Comes To Miramar: 2010 North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Under 23
MIRAMAR – Nearly 500 athletes from 32 member nations of the North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Association, otherwise called NACAC, will compete in the Under 23 Track and Field Championships at the Ansin Sports Complex in Miramar, Florida, on July 9 – 11, 2010.
Under the auspices of the I.A.A.F. (International Amateur Athletics Federation) and the USATF (USA Track & Field) these athletes are representing the following countries: Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico, Netherland Antilles, Nicaragua, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, United States of America, and U.S. Virgin Islands. This event will bring an unprecedented showing of first class athletes to the City of Miramar.

The NACAC Championships begin on Friday, July 9th and will include Javelin, Long Jump, Discus Throw, Shot Put, High Jump, Pole Vault, Hammer Throw, various distance runs and hurdles.

Tickets are $10 per day; $25 for a three-day package (box office fees will apply).
