International Faith Tourism Leaders join forces in The Bahamas

FREEPORT, Bahamas – Two international faith tourism leaders, Bahamian Dr. Miles Munroe and American Andria Hall have joined forces to help strengthen the faith of men and women when two character building meetings intersect on Grand Bahama Island from November 30 to December 3, 2006.

Dr. Munroe, founder, president and senior pastor of Bahamas Faith Ministries International, and Ms. Hall, a former CNN News Anchor and president of SpeakEasy M.E.D.I.A., will combine efforts by cross-promoting separate men’s and women’s events they are producing at the same time on the same island. “This could only be a God thing,” said Hall, who will produce “First Ladies First: The Quiet Whispers” women’s conference at Westin Grand Bahama Island Our Lucaya Resort, while Dr. Munroe and a team of leaders will inspire men of faith at the Real Men Ministry Conference at Hilton Outten Convention Center in Freeport.

Both organizers want to “seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”(Matthew 6:33) as the men’s conference motivates men to reconnect with their spirits and take their rightful positions as Kingdom citizens through development and training forums grounded in the principles of the Word of God and His Holy Spirit. The group is dedicated to building strong character, integrity, family and social responsibility, spiritual, emotional and physical discipline.

Hall explained that the divine timing of both events allows the spouses of participants to attend concurrent sessions. “Families are in for a double blessing,” said Hall, who encouraged attendees from the Caribbean and the US to quickly take advantage of special Fall fares currently being offered by airlines. Specially negotiated group hotel rates can be secured at www.speakeasymedia.com.

“Dr. Munroe and his team are teaching boys to become real men, and men to be real. We’re giving women of God first place for the weekend, and offering women in ministry and service an opportunity to share their Quiet Whispers. God has ordained a smart partnership between these two powerful ministries with one mission – to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. We are unifying for Kingdom purposes, and want people to attend with their spouse and be blessed by two meaningful ministry events,” said Hall, who noted that SpeakEasy M.E.D.I.A.’s personal and interactive conference will meet participants’ needs in an atmosphere of privacy and spiritual intimacy.

Linville Johnson, Director of Religious Markets for the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, said his country is serious about the faith tourism market. “The reason why we’re looking at this market is because it’s a niche market and we are a Christian country,” he said. Johnson wants the destination’s new partnership with SpeakEasy M.E.D.I.A. to help better define and grow this distinct segment of the market.

Special registration rates are being offered to Bahamian, Caribbean and international delegates. Overseas participants can book their air at www.speakeasytravel.com.
