MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica – The all-inclusive Holiday Inn Resort Montego Bay is rolling out the red carpet for guests who choose the property as their home away from home for the annual Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival, to be held January 22-24, 2009 at the historic Aqueduct in Montego Bay.
The resort’s traditional warm welcome will be enhanced for Jazz & Blues guests, each of whom will receive a special welcome turn down service and fruit platter upon arrival.
“As long-time supporters of the Jazz & Blues Festival, we’re pleased to make our normal welcome a little extra special for music-lovers from near and far,” said Nicola Madden-Greig, Group Director of Marketing & Sales. “Every year it seems that Jazz & Blues just keeps getting better. We’re proud to play a part in the success of such a wonderful event, and look forward to welcoming old, as well as new friends to Montego Bay in January.”
Jamaica’s premiere music event, the Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival will once again feature three unforgettable nights of A-list performances by some of the top musical talent in the world. Among the more notable performers are Grammy Award-winner Lionel Richie, Atlantic Starr, Lou Gramm, the O’Jays, teenage Canadian sensation Nikki Yanofsky and London’s exciting new artist Estelle, winner of the “World’s Best New R&B Act” award at the 2008 World Music Awards.
