HISTORYMIAMI’S WINE DOWN WEDNESDAY WILL BE JAMMIN’ WITH ITS REGGAE EDITION ON SEPTEMBER 4th FROM 5 – 7PM

MIAMI – In advance of the year’s most anticipated exhibition, HistoryMiami is pleased to announce a live Bob Marley mural painting by Trek6 and big reggae vibes at the upcoming edition of Wine Down Wednesday on September 4, 2013.

On the first Wednesday of each month from 5 – 7:00 p.m., HistoryMiami is the setting for one of the city’s most unique and enjoyable happy hours. Guests enjoy unlimited treats and refreshments, free access to exhibition galleries and live local music. Wine Down Wednesday is free for members and just $10 for non-members.

“There are a lot of happy hours in Miami, but none that can match our unique ambiance. If you’ve never experienced a Wine Down Wednesday, we invite all Bob Marley fans to join us as we continue the countdown to the opening of Bob Marley Messenger,” said Stuart Chase, museum director.

The Bob Marley Messenger exhibition which explores Marley as a private, spiritual man, as a powerful performer whose lyrics gave voice to the disenfranchised and as a legend who inspired a legion of fans in the 30 years since his death. Bob Marley Messenger will open at HistoryMiami located at 101 West Flagler Street in the downtown Miami Cultural Plaza with an opening reception on Thursday, October 10 at 7 p.m. followed by special events throughout the weekend.
