NEW YORK – Still enjoying the growing success of his breakout international hit, “Hold You,” reggae star Gyptian’s follow-up new single, “Nah Let Go,” is another crowd pleaser. The video for the new single debuts on the #1 most-watched music countdown show in the world, BET’s 106 & Park, as the coveted “New Joint” on Thursday, September 16, 2010.
“Nah Let Go” is the second single from Gyptian’s third album, Hold You, released by VP Records in July 2010. The tropical-flavored romantic ballad was just added into rotation on urban radio authority, HOT97 WQHT, in New York.
The video was shot in Gyptian’s homeland of Jamaica, and depicts Gyptian on a rendezvous with his lady love, while lush landscapes of the island countryside provide the perfect backdrop. It was shot by famed Jamaican film and music video director, Rass Kassa. The video is also currently in rotation on MTV Jams, MTVU, Music Choice and MuchVibe in Canada.
