Haitian Immigrant, Best-Selling Author, Edwidge Danticat to Headline National Psoriasis Foundation Fundraiser

MIAMI – Join Upper Eastside Miami resident and author of “Brother I’m Dying,” Edwidge Danticat, as she talks about her fascinating and inspiring life story of the travails that brought her from Haiti to Miami as a young girl.

Edwidge Danticat leads a frank, open discussion about her passion for writing, her new works, Haiti’s future, and her personal experiences with a family who suffered from psoriasis.

Danticat will headline the National Psoriasis Foundation Fundraiser, on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 6:30 till 9:00 pm at Iron Side Cafe, 7600 NE 4th Court, in Miami’s Upper East Side.

The evening includes a relaxing outdoor experience at the all organic Iron Side Cafe located in the creative enclave now called the Little River District. Attendees will enjoy a delicious selection of chef-inspired organic, epicurean delights and a complimentary wine selection.
