Haitian-American Foundation to be honored by Kiwanis Club of Lauderdale Lakes

LAUDERDALE LAKES – Countyline Chiropractic returns as 2010 Corporate Partner with the Kiwanis Club of Lauderdale Lakes to celebrate the Twelfth Annual Grand Charity Ball. The black tie event takes place on Saturday September 11, 2010 at Signature Grand, 6900 State Road 84, Davie.

The Annual Grand Charity Ball is the premier undertaking of the Kiwanis Club of Lauderdale Lakes and since 1999 has resulted in the distribution of over $430,000 to various deserving charities including SOS Children’s Village; Susan B Anthony Home & Recovery Center, Caribbean Heart Menders’ Association, and our own Scholarship and Endowment Funds.

The Club will honor Dr. Aldy Castor M.D. of The Haitian Resource Development Foundation. Dr. Aldy Castor is a true humanitarian, and has for decades reached out to help and improve the lives of those in need. Because of his concern for children and the future, he has fought to improve the lives, the care, and the awareness of infants being born with the HIV/AIDS virus. He has worked assiduously to save children by educating adults on the importance of control and prevention of this disease.
