Grenada Board of Tourism emulates outstanding tourism affiliates

GRENADA – During the week of September 24 – 30, 2006, Grenadians learnt more about the work of the Grenada Board of Tourism and the Ministry of Tourism.

They were exposed to several opportunities to familiarize themselves with information designed to enable them to better recognize the importance of tourism, and appreciate the tourism product and cultural heritage of Grenada.

Information regarding career opportunities available within the sector, the value of tourism, the importance of the environment, and the responsibility of all Grenadians to develop positive attitudes towards tourists were among some of the objectives of the Grenada Board of Tourism as it celebrated this special Tourism Awareness and Appreciation Week.
