NEW YORK – Caribbean home cooking gets a convenient new twist with the U.S. launch of Grace Caribbean Traditions, the first full range of frozen meals to capture the robust flavors of Caribbean food, without the hassle of hours in the kitchen.

The Grace Caribbean Traditions range includes four popular Caribbean favorites — Jerk Chicken with Rice and Peas, Jerk Shrimp, Curried Chicken and Curried Mutton, all with white rice. The meals are ready to eat after five minutes in the microwave.

“A lot of people are going to be surprised by the authenticity of these meals. We’ve captured the flavors and essence of Caribbean home-style cooking and made it convenient as a frozen meal. The reward is that once you put the meal on the plate, you know that this is the real thing – from the spices to the consistency of the gravies that accompany each meal,” said Ricardo Bryan, Regional Business Manager-USA, Grace Foods.

While Caribbean nationals living in the U.S. will easily welcome the new products, the Grace Caribbean Traditions meals should also find favor with some of the millions of Americans who visit the Caribbean each year and who are eager to relive the taste of the islands.

Grace Caribbean Traditions meals will be available in Caribbean stores and leading supermarket chains, and are distributed by Calip Dairies and Tree of Life, Inc.
