MIAMI – The Miami Passport Agency is hosting a Passport Fair on Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm at the Miami Passport Agency located at 1501 Biscayne Boulevard, Suite 210 in Miami to provide passport information to U.S. citizens and to accept passport applications.
The Agency will accept first-time and renewal applications for a U.S. Passport Book and/or the new credit- card size U.S. Passport Card.
For this day only, appointments are NOT required for entry into the Miami Passport Agency and customers may apply for routine processing or for expedited service for an additional $60. Customers will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
The Miami Passport Agency is joining the Department of State in celebrating Passport Day in the USA 2010, a national passport acceptance and outreach event.
U.S. citizens must present a valid passport book when entering or re-entering the United States by air. U.S. citizens entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry must present a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. government.
