Freemangroup and Mobil Travel Guide announce a partnership for the Caribbean

RICHARDSON, Texas – FreemanGroup, a hospitality and tourism service evaluation and improvement company with more than twenty years of experience in the Caribbean, has partnered with Mobil Travel Guide, originator of the prestigious Five-Star ratings and certifications program for hotels, restaurants and spas, to offer comprehensive training, measurement and rating services to the Caribbean. The initiative – called FG Destinations – is designed to help the islands compete in an increasingly competitive global tourism market.

FG Destinations will allow the islands to tap Freeman’s experience in service quality improvement along with the internationally known and respected accommodation standards set by Mobil Travel Guide. This will facilitate continued Caribbean service level improvements and allow travelers to utilize Mobil’s Star rating system to make better-informed Caribbean travel decisions. The ratings will be made available to the public via Mobil Travel Guide’s Web site (www.mobiltravelguide.com).

In addition to establishing, implementing and maintaining international service standards through measurable training processes for hotels, FG Destinations will also assist the islands in other important tourism areas that have direct visitor contact, including dining, transportation and customs.
