Foodies Delight! Casa de Campo Announces Inaugural Food & Wine Festival

Featuring Three Michelin Star Spanish Chef Xabier Gutierrez

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – Casa de Campo, the 7,000-acre luxury resort destination in La Romana, Dominican Republic, announces their inaugural Casa de Campo Food and Wine Festival on August 21 – 23, 2015 – as they set the stage for world-class culinary experiences complete with unforgettable scenery, luxurious amenities, and tropical Caribbean breezes.

Renowned experts from the elite international epicurean scene will gather at the legendary resort including famed Chef, Xabier Gutierrez of the three Michelin star Restaurante Arzak in San Sebastian, Spain. The weekend long event will comprise of exclusive dinners with Gutierrez, a beachfront brunch on Sunday and an array of culinary activities including beer, wine and food tastings. Along with Gutierrez and celebrated local Dominican chefs, Executive Chef of Casa de Campo, Anthony Masas will spearhead a series of tasty presentations that will dive into proper wine pairing and how to create delicious flavor combinations.

For ease of arrival, the Casa de Campo La Romana International Airport (LRM) is five minutes from check-in and serviced by JetBlue Airways (with direct routes from JFK three times a week) and American Airlines (daily non-stop service from South Florida). A short drive away, Santo Domingo International Airport (SDQ) and Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) operate daily with direct flights from all major U.S. airports.
