Destiny Foundation to break ground for first Medical & Health Sciences University in St. Lucia

NEGRIL, Jamaica – David Singh, President/CEO of Destiny Group of Companies, will be holding a groundbreaking ceremony for Destiny University School of Medicine and Health Sciences on October 29, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. in St. Lucia.

This historical moment will be held at Lot #7, St. Jude’s Highway – immediately adjacent to the St. Lucia Brewery.

The Honourable Prime Minister, Stephen King, the Honourable Minister of Health and numerous other dignitaries will be on hand to celebrate this important event- and to receive a Mammography Machine which Mr. Singh is donating to the island. St. Lucia currently does not have this important breast cancer testing tool.

Destiny University School of Medicine and Health Sciences is dedicated to promoting healthcare worldwide by providing an excellent training opportunity for prospective medical practitioners. Destiny University will provide instruction levels to ensure that graduates at the degree level are well equipped to pursue clinical studies at approved institutions in the USA and elsewhere.

David Singh is well known throughout the region for his generous efforts to relieve poverty and improve the health of Caribbean peoples.

Mr. Singh will host a dinner at the Coconut Bay Resort immediately following the ceremonies. Media are invited to join us in this celebration of St. Lucia’s newest institution of higher learning.
