PORT OF SPAIN – Final rehearsals took place for the opening Ceremony of the Fifth Summit of the Americas as dignitaries from 34 member states of the Organization of American States begin to arrive at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad.
The performance will feature a cultural show emphasizing unity in the Americas.
Brian MacFarlane, the Event Producer and Coordinator for the Opening Ceremony said, “The opening presentation represents the consecration, purification and cleansing of space, this begins the cultural journey of the Caribbean region through time.”
