MIAMI – Switchboard of Miami, Inc. the area’s leading crisis counseling & information and referral services, is recruiting volunteers to answer the agency’s helpline information and referral calls, and provide emotional support to the Haitian community in this time of grief.
Haiti’s large scale disaster of January 12th, created an urgent need to provide telephone counseling to the area’s large Haitian community impacted by this tragic experience.
We are currently recruiting motivated individuals 18 y/o and over, who speak Creole and/or French-Creole language, and who find gratification in helping those in need.
Training will be provided at Switchboard of Miami, 701 S.W. 27 Ave., Miami 33135.
