CARICOM to field electoral mission to Trinidad And Tobago

GREATER GEORGETOWN, Guyana – The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) will field an electoral mission to observe the Trinidad and Tobago elections scheduled for November 5, 2007.

CARICOM Secretary-General, His Excellency Edwin Carrington made the announcement at a press conference he hosted on Tuesday, October 23 at the CARICOM Secretariat headquarters, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana.

He said CARICOM will field the only observer mission to the elections and the team will comprise at least 22 members.
