MIAMI – Caribbean American attorney Marlon Hill was recently awarded the Bill Colson Award at the Annual Salute to Miami Leaders Luncheon for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.
The Bill Colson Award honors Leadership Miami® Alumni who have provided consistent leadership in creating community understanding and enhancing the quality of life for a broad-cross section of the total community.
In its 30th year, this award has been presented to community leaders such as Mayor Don Slesnick, Michael Carricarte, Jimmy Morales, Dorothy Weaver, Luis Ajamil, Dr. Rudy Moise, Judge Steve Leifman, Phillis Oeters, Peter Roulhac, Ron Book, Mayor Manny Diaz, Jack Lowell, Neisen Kasdin, Michael Lewis, Art Noriega, Mark Trowbridge, Dawn White, Jayne Abess, Gene Schaefer and last year’s recipient Rolando Aedo.
The award was created to recognize excellence in leadership and named to honor the late Bill Colson, a prominent Miami trail attorney. Mr. Colson founded Leadership Miami® program in 1979 and was one of it keys supporter throughout his life. You should be proud of your achievement and to be part of the Chamber’s Leadership Miami® program.
Award presentation took place during Salute to Miami’s Leaders awards luncheon as part of the Chamber’s annual Goals Conference on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Hilton Miami Downtown, 1601 Biscayne Boulevard, Ballroom Level, Miami, FL 33132.
