Caribbean American women among nominees for annual Women’s Power Caucus Awards

MIAMI – The long awaited list of nominees for the Quiet Storm Awards at the 5th Annual Women’s Power Caucus (WPC) hosted by IN FOCUS Magazine is in!

The Annual Women’s Power Caucus will be held on August 24 and 25 at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Resort and will feature numerouse events ranging from an Executive Fashion showcase to workshops and the Achiever’s awards.

The nominees will all be recognized during the WPC and 11 of these well deserving women will be awarded the notable Quiet Storm Award, in addition to the exclusive Living Legend Award presented to a community pioneer. We are celebrating and congratulating these women on their successes and thanking them for their contributions to our community, said Woodie Lesesne, President of IN FOCUS Magazine and Host of the WPC.

The nominees are all extremely gifted and noteworthy people, it is rather difficult to narrow them down. The most rewarding feeling comes from being recognized for contributions and long investments to your community and in your career.

IN FOCUS Magazine presents the Quiet Storm Awards in 11 different categories to South Florida’s top women,in the following categories: Legal, Education, Healthcare, Business, Chambers, Government, Media, Technology, Entertainment, Not for Profit, Finance, and Arts & Culture.
