PORT OF SPAIN – Caribbean Airlines will have a new flight service from Port-of-Spain, Trinidad to London, Gatwick Airport.
From March 28, 2007, Caribbean Airlines and British Airways will offer its customers direct flights from Port-of-Spain to London, Gatwick Airport on a Boeing 777, through a partnership with British Airways.
This direct flight will be offered every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. On all other days, a seamless, connecting service between Port-of-Spain and London via Barbados can be booked with Caribbean Airlines.
The current schedule to Heathrow Airport continues daily until March 27th, 2007. The arrangement is part of a codeshare agreement signed between Caribbean Airlines and British Airways.

The enhanced on-board service includes the Club World seat that extends into a flat bed, wider seats and more legroom in World Traveler Plus (premium economy) and the full entertainment facilities offered in World Traveler (economy).
Additionally, Caribbean Airlines’ customers will be able to redeem frequent flyer rewards on the London flights.
Caribbean Airlines is working to extend this program to the wider British Airways’ global network, targeted for later in 2007.
Caribbean Airlines will accommodate all passengers currently booked on BWIA. Caribbean Airlines will be launched on January 1st, 2007.
