Best Of The Best Weekend 2011 (Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop, R&B) Celebrates The Visitor Experience To South Florida
Miami – South Florida’s premier music and lifestyle promotions companies, XO Management and Rockers Island Entertainment in association with Radio One, are proud to partner in the promotion of Best Of The Best Weekend 2011 in downtown Miami this coming Memorial Weekend.
Each year, Best Of The Best welcomes thousands of visitors from urban centers around the United States, including New York, D.C., Atlanta, Houston, as well as from the Caribbean, South America and Europe.
In the City of Miami, Bicentennial Park (1075 Biscayne Blvd.) will be a center of musical energy for back-to-back blockbuster concerts on Saturday, May 28th and Sunday, May 29th. Day one, dubbed Spring Fest, will feature the best of the best in contemporary R&B and Hip-Hop, including Miami native Rick Ross, Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Keri Hilson, Lloyd, Jeremih, Miguel , Marsha Ambrosius (formerly of the duo Floetry), Travis Porter and Big Sean. Nationally syndicated radio personality and comedian Rickey Smiley will host with Russ Parr and Jabba of Massive B.
Dancehall icon, Shabba Ranks, will perform on day two alongside some of the biggest acts in Reggae, Hip-Hop, Dancehall and Soca, including Stephen and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, DJ Khaled, Vybz Kartel (who will appear with his band live via satellite from Jamaica), Tarrus Riley, Alison Hinds, Trina, Assassin, Etana, Sanchez, I-Octane, Ace Hood, Stephen McGregor, Chino, Richie Loop, Demarco, Gappy Ranks, Romain Virgo, Tifa, Big A.C., Qwote, Danielle D.I., ZJ Liquid.
Greater Miami and Broward County encourage visitors to partake in the beautiful weather, sandy beaches, and countless cultural landmarks and activities.
