HALLANDALE BEACH – On Thursday, November 20 Bermuda’s Premier and Minister of Tourism and Transport Dr. Ewart F. Brown participated in a hotel investors’ conference in Hallandale Beach in South Florida.
“The Hotel & Money” conference is designed to explore hotel investment and development opportunities in the Latin American and Caribbean regions.
Premier Brown said, “This was a golden opportunity for me to brief movers and shakers in the international hotel industry about the Government’s commitment to rebuilding the second leg of our economy. I talked to them about the Platinum Period, the Hotel Concessions Act and golf redevelopment which is the key to making Bermuda a truly successful year-round destination.”
The Premier sat on a panel of Tourism leaders from around the world assembled to share an outlook on the tourism industry in their respective countries.
The Hotel & Money conference took place at the Diplomat Resort in Hallandale.
