“As the election day of November 2nd approaches, momentum is building across the State of Florida for an increased voter turnout from the public. Alex is our choice for Governor. “Alex’s commitment to upholding US immigration laws while disavowing the vilification of individual communities demonstrates the leadership we need in a Governor. Alex’s intention to pursue more robust trade with neighboring Caribbean nations will create jobs and investment opportunities for Florida’s citizens and companies. Alex will be the first Governor in twelve years whose own children attended Florida’s public schools, which conveys her commitment to public education and improving the graduation rate for our kids. Alex understands that education is key to economic development and rejuvenating our communities. These are some of the reasons Floridians of Caribbean descent welcome the fresh perspective brought by Alex and her direct to actively engage our community in the dialogue on Florida’s future,” stated State Representative Mack Bernard.
The rally will feature music and light refreshments.
