MIAMI – The Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce sends deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Trevor Boopsingh who passed away on Tuesday, February 9th. He was a man of vision who commanded the respect of, and has made an invaluable contribution to this country’s energy sector.
Mr. Boopsingh was an eminent petroleum engineer, a respected permanent secretary, and Distinguished Lecturer of the SPE, UWI academic, author, Chairman of Petrotrin, an international energy consultant and Chairman of the Vision 2020 Energy Sub-Committee. Mr. Boopsingh also found time to be an active member of the Chamber’s Energy Committee where he not only served with distinction but also generously assisted the staff and management of the Chamber as well. He has left us a great legacy and he will be sorely missed.
