HCA appoints Caribbean-American as Chief Financial Officer
FT. LAUDERDALE – HCA (Hospital Corporation of America) East Florida Division appointed Caribbean-American, Michael A. Houston as Chief Financial Officer of the Division, effective immediately.
Mr. Houston has over 20 years of healthcare experience and has been with company – HCA – for the past eleven years. Since 2005, Mr. Houston served as the Chief Financial Officer of Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation, Florida. Prior to Westside, Mr. Houston was the Chief Financial Officer at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center in Aventura, Florida. Prior to joining HCA he served as the Financial Controller and Chief Information Officer for North Shore Medical Center in Miami.
Michael Houston
Michael Houston received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University and is completing his MBA from FAU in September of 2007. Mr. Houston, originally from Jamaica, resides in Parkland, Florida with his wife Liz and their three children.
