CORAL SPRINGS – On Saturday, October 6 from 8am to 6pm at the Coral Springs Gymnasium, 2501 Coral Springs Drive, in Coral Springs WINNERS SPORTS CLUB, INC., will host its 7th annual one-day invitational netball tournament.
Participants from the continental United States, British Virgin Island, and the Caribbean will be there. From the continental US, there will be Florida — Tropical Nets, Saints United, Seven Strikers, Lauderhill’s Angels (under 12 ), and Winners (under 12); New York — Crusaders Sports Club, Antilleans Sports Club and Navigators ( male team); and Atlanta — Agape Sports Club. From the Caribbean, both male and female teams will be coming out of Antigua and Jamaica.
Team will be vying for awards, namely, Best Uniform: Most Disciplined: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Places, Most Valuable Player, Shooting Competition Winners; and special awards
The matches are open to the public. Netball is an exciting women’s team sports invented in America 100 years ago, played successfully around the world, now being re-established in its country of origins in the 21st century.
