TAMPA – Caribbean Community Association Inc. (CCA) announces Scholarship For Caribbean Students. Caribbean students from tertiary institutions in the Tampa Bay area are invited to apply for the Caribbean Community Association Inc. (CCA) 2015 scholarship awards program.
Application forms are available at the CCA website www.cca91.org, and the applications must be mailed to the Education Committee Chairperson – Caribbean Community Association, Inc. PO Box 16916 Temple Terrace, FL 33687-6916.
The scholarship for Caribbean Students are primarily need based, and open to any student of Caribbean descent enrolled in a university in Hillsborough, Pinellas or Pasco counties.
The scholarships will be awarded at the CCA’s Annual Fundraising Gala on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 3705 Spectrum Blvd., Tampa, FL 33612.
“CCA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization. Their operations are conducted solely by volunteers serving Tampa Bay. Founded in 1991, “the mission of the organization is to undertake community development projects in education, health, sports, and other humanitarian services in the Tampa Bay Area, and the poorer countries of the Caribbean.”
