U.S. Expert on Energy to meet with Private and Public Sector Leaders in Jamaica
BOSTON – Jerome Ringo, research scholar at Yale University, author and president of the Apollo Alliance, a broad coalition of major U.S. environmental organizations, will be in Jamaica from May 13 to 15 for a number of speaking engagements and seminars on energy security and environmental issues.
During his visit, he is expected to meet with private and public sector leaders as well as representatives of community-based organizations.

On May 13, Mr. Ringo will lead a panel discussion on the topic, “Raising Awareness on Renewable Energy Security,” at the U.S. Embassy in Kingston. He will be joined by other panelists including Christopher Silkie, U.S. Embassy; Steven Bruce-Miller, CFA Dewdrop Homes and Hopeton Heron of the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica.
