PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad – Trinidad & Tobago’s Prime Minister, Patrick Manning announced that Trinidad and Tobago will hold general elections on November 5th 2007.
“I have advised His Excellency the President to dissolve parliament with effect from midnight tonight. General elections will be held in Trinidad and Tobago on Monday, November 5,” Manning said.

Mr. Manning announced the election date during the last session of the House of Representatives and before the five-year term of the current administration ends next month.
