Transportation Needs Are High Priority With City Of Miramar Officials and Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart

MIRAMAR – Mayor Lori C. Moseley and City Manager Kathleen Woods-Richardson attended a meeting hosted by the South Florida Regional Planning Council on Thursday, February 19th to discuss the City of Miramar’s transportation needs.

“Thank you to Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart for calling this meeting of all the stakeholders. We all understand that through partnership, we have a greater chance of success. A priority for Miramar was to put on the front burner our need to receive a TIGER Grant that we have partnered with the city of Pembroke Pines to receive federal funding to extend Pembroke Road to US27,” Mayor Moseley said.  The meeting was successful and well-received by prominent transportation representatives in attendance.
