MIRAMAR – Jamaica National Overseas (USA), Inc, a subsidiary of the Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS), has opened a Money Shop in Miramar Plaza.
Located in the heart of the Caribbean community, the Money Shop offers money transfer, bill payment, and ATM services. Customers can also purchase phone cards and top up their Digicel phones for Jamaica and The Cayman Islands.
Other exciting features of this innovative community service center includes a business center with internet access, faxing and photo copying services.
Earl Jarrett, JNBS General Manager, noted that the Money Shops, pioneered by his organization in 2003 to bring banking and other services into communities, have been highly successful in Jamaica.

“The unique combination of services will make the JNO Money Shop a one-stop center for a wide range of financial and personal services linking the Jamaican Diaspora in the South Florida area with Jamaica, the Caribbean and the rest of the world,” he said, adding that other services would soon be included.
The JN Money Shops have flourished in Jamaica, and there are now five Shops, conveniently located on Spanish Town Road near to Tivoli Gardens, Whitehouse in Savanna-la-Mar, Azmart in Barbican, Port Maria and on Knutsford Boulevard in New Kingston, which offer a range of services including Money Transfer, ATM, phone card sales, and classified ad placements for the Gleaner.
