The Fifth Staging Of Caribbean Classic Golf Invitational Kicks Off Today At The Aqueduct In Montego Bay, Jamaica
MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica – For the second year, Muay Thai fighting will be a component of The Fifth Annual Caribbean Classic Golf Invitational. During the ‘Champions of Champions II’ Muay Thai fighters will compete in a custom designed CCGI arena on the beach. Fighters include a who’s who of the Muay Thai global community from around the world as well as our own home grown fighter Clifton Brown.
RISARC Consulting, LLC and its’ charitable arm CCGI Foundation will showcase new couture lines from leading fashion designers during the Champions of Champions II Fight night. For the first time ever, fashion meets fight night, as top fashion show producer and runway instructor Michael Maddox teams up with the CCGI Foundation to showcase collections from fashion lines Alexander McQueen, Parasuco, House of Howe, Thomas Wylde, Sterling Capricio, Dena Burton, and John Varvatos.
They have toured Europe, Canada and the United States, Chalice International, Assassin and Tessanne Chin will be moving the house at this years (CCGI) culture night. They will be joined by New Edition’s Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill and Ralph Tresvant who will perform under their new banner Head of State. Ras Penco, J McKay and Sasha Samantha are also slated to perform at the show. The charity fundraising event will also include a Comedy night featuring Ity and Fancy Cat to be hosted by Cedric “The Entertainer”.
The mission of RISARC and the CCGI Foundation is to collaborate and focus resources on preparing a new generation of leaders by building a platform for leadership development and innovative project initiatives.
CCGI Foundation has handed over computers to approximately 60 primary schools. To date, the monetary value of the computers donated by the foundation is over US$500,000.
This year’s goal is to donate 400 brand new Dell computers and establish even more computer learning centres. The Fifth Annual Caribbean Classic Golf Invitational includes a series of cultural and sporting events taking place at the Aqueduct in Montego Bay and Iberostar Rose Hall Beach & Spa Resort, during the week of June 24th – 28th, 2009.
