MIAMI – In light of Governor Mitt Romney’s harsh comment about the 47% of Americans who pay no income taxes, community members and activists of this “entitled” group will be protesting the governor while he speaks to Univision at the University of Miami on Wednesday.
Contrary to Gov. Romney’s belief that the 47% think they are victims, many are actually hard-working middle class families who pay their fair share through local, state and payroll taxes. Next door to the Bank United Center at the Field House, the 47% will voice their outrage at a presidential candidate who could so easily write off nearly half of the American population.
