Summer Fest 2009 Postponed Due To Weather Concerns

MIAMI – The uncertainty of the weather forecast for this weekend in Miami, Florida as a result of the two hurricanes looming in the Caribbean has forced the promoter of the South Florida Summer Fest 2009 to postpone the highly-anticipated event until further notice.

Promoter Vision Entertainment Worldwide arrived at this decision after careful consideration of the safety of ticket holders and has opted to move the concert to ensure the safety of their patrons who were expected to attend not only the event but all surrounding festivities planned for the weekend.

Summer Fest 2009 was scheduled for this Saturday, August 22, 2009 at the American Airlines Arena, with a press launch and several before-and-after parties planned for the exciting weekend. Headliners Akon, Ne-Yo, Flo Rida, T-Pain and Keri Hilson were slated to perform alongside Black Dada, Brisco, Wynter Gordon and Casely, to name a few of the special guest artists on the star-studded line-up.

Since the show has been postponed and NOT CANCELED, ticket holders are urged to retain their tickets for admission into the rescheduled show, for which their tickets will remain valid. Please stay tuned for further details on when Summer Fest 2009 will storm South Florida, minus actual storms of course.
