South Florida To Host First Annual Jamaica High School Alumni Soccer and Netball Tournament

LAUDERHILL – This Labor Day Weekend Sunday and Monday September 6th and 7th the first Annual South Florida Jamaica High School Alumni Soccer and Netball Tournament will be held at the Lauderhill Sports Complex. 7500 W. Oakland Park BLVD.

The aim of this event is to reunite the past students who attended high school in Jamaica and create a platform to relive this competitive experience.

To add to the excitement of school rivalries, distinguished sports personality Ed Barnes will be assuming the role of sport commentator. We are looking forward to two beautiful South Florida days of fun and excitement for the entire family and encourage everyone to come to the event wearing their Jamaican high school colors.

The winning Soccer and Netball team will receive the National Weekly Cup and cash. Additionally; the winning school being represented will receive a monetary gift and equipment to be presented to the schools in Jamaica.

Sunday September 6, 11am – 6pm
Monday September 7, 11am – 9pm

The event is free to the entire community. Donations will be received for the Carib United FC Youth Scholarship Fund.
